Author Allysa Salena's dedication to writing stems from her lifelong pursuit of great books and a determination to overcome her delayed reading abilities. Despite facing challenges, she persevered and pursued her passion for reading and writing. She began with angsty high school poetry and eventually earned a bachelor's degree in English from West Virginia University.

Her passion lies in epic fantasies, where compelling characters and strong poetic language captivate her imagination. Even though she is almost always reading or writing, Allysa still makes sure to spend time with for loving husband, her two ornery cats, and two goofy dogs.
